An ailing Amar Singh took to Twitter to share a tweet where he regrets about his ‘overreaction’ against Amit Ji and family. As he fights a battle between life and death, Amar Singh recalls his father on his death anniversary. Looks like Amar Singh is finally trying to bury the hatchet with the Bachchan. He is currently receiving treatment for his failing kidney at a hospital in Singapore.
Amar Singh and Amitabh Bachchan had been friends for the longest time until Amar Singh made some shocking revelations about ‘PINK’ actor and his family. In 2017, Amar Singh had said in an interview that Amit Ji and wife Jaya Bachchan were living separately and there was continuous tension between Jaya Ji and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He also revealed that Amitabh had warned him to not accept Jaya Bachchan’s application to Samajwadi Party. This lead to a major fallout between friends who remain on no-talking terms.
When Amitabh Bachchan’s name was brought up in the Panama Case Amit had revealed that he was the one who formulated his finances when ABCL (Amitabh’s Production Company) crashed. Amar was later sent to jail for his fowl acts where he stayed for a while but Amitabh never visited him. Talking about those days, he had said that Amitabh took too long to visit him. The ‘Sholay’ star only went to see him in the hospital when he was released from jail. The politician had also expressed his displeasure on seeing Amitabh at the hospital one day.
“When he came to meet me I didn’t feel like talking to him because the feelings I had for him, the friendship had gone. They had got filtered from my mind and the realisation had dawned that mostly people are weather cocks.” he added. We hope that Amktabh Bachchan can find it in him to let bygones be bygones. We wish Amar Singh a very speedy recover.
Today is my father’s death anniversary & I got a message for the same from @SrBachchan ji. At this stage of life when I am fighting a battle of life & death I regret for my over reaction against Amit ji & family. God bless them all.
