Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share some extremely cute childhood photos with Shaheen Bhatt on her birthday. the cute sisters look cute as buttons as little girls just having some harmless fun. As Shaheen turned a year older, Alia Bhatt expressed her failure to write the ‘perfect’ birthday message for her elder sister.
In the caption, she talks about how she is at loss of words in expressing what the elder sister means to her. She also talked about the distinct language that the two sisters speak which is completely foreign to the other people of the world.
The throwback pictures pack the most emotional Instagram birthday wish from one sister to another. Needless to say, Alia fans can’t deal with all the cuteness that they are subject to in the recent Instagram post. The birthday post has also invited infinite love from the who’s who of Bollywood. The likes of Aditi Rao Hydari, Anu Ranjan, Farhan Akhtar and Jitesh Pillai.
Going by Alia’s post caption and Shaheen’s comment below, it is evident that the adorable sisters lovingly address each other as ‘Sir’. Shaheen’s comment also reflects how Alia’s emotional post made her cry at least six times.
Besides the ‘Raazi’ actress, director-daddy Mahesh Bhatt and mommy Soni Razdan also wished happy birthday to their dear daughter on her big day. Mahesh Bhatt also hints a little at Shaheen’s big battles with depression through her adult life.

Shaheen had been diagnosed with depression at the age of 12. She resorted to unhealthy and hedonistic practices after she started having suicidal thoughts at the age of 18. The birthday girl has also authored the book ‘I Have Never Been (Un)Happier’ in October 2018.
