Article 15 4th day box office collection: Ayushmann Khurana starrer ‘Article 15’ had a pretty good first Monday at the box office, earned around 3.8 crores.
After a decent opening weekend with the collection of 20.04 crores, Ayushmann Khurana starrer ‘Article 15’ managed to holds well on its first Monday. It dropped by just 20% compared to Friday collection which suggests that the audience has shown interest in the film.
The film has survived the ‘Kabir Singh’ wave which remains the first choice for the moviegoers. Even in its second week, Kabir Singh is collecting in double digits which shows its dominance at the box office.
As per early estimates, Article 15 4th day collection is around 3.8 crores. The total collection of the film after four days stands at around 24 crores.
Article 15 Box Office Journey
Article 15 had a decent opening at the box office as it earned 5.02 crores on the first day. It witnessed a good jump on Saturday and earned 7.25 crores. On Sunday, it remained strong and manages to hold well despite a big cricket match between India and England. It collected to 7.77 crores on Sunday to take its first weekend total to 20.04 crores.
The film has received good reviews from the critics. The WOM of the viewers is also positive. Moreover, the presence of a big star Ayushmann has ensured that the film gets good credentials. If the absence of Kabir Singh, this Anubhav Sinha directional would have earned more than 30 crores by now.
The budget of Article 15 is around 30 crores. It will be considered a hit if it crosses 40 crores. With such a strong hold on Monday, the film is well on its way to becoming a hit. The collection on second Friday will tell if it can cross 50 crore mark.
