Avengers: Endgame advance booking in India: Record-breaking
Marvel fans in India have been eagerly awaiting for the pre-booking for Avengers: Endgame to begin across the country. The advance booking of the movie was expected to begin on Sunday. However, a few multiplex operators like PVR began the booking at 9 PM on Saturday.
Fans went crazy and the first-day shows were booked within hours. The ticket prices are all-time high ranging from Rs 200 to Rs 3000 but that couldn’t stop the fans.
The craze for the movie in India is something we last saw at the time of Bahubali 2. Going by the craze, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Avengers: Endgame would shatter all box office records set by Hollywood movies in India.
In fact, opening day and weekend box office records of Bollywood biggies like Dangal, Sanju, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bahiubali 2 are also in danger.
Trade experts are expecting havoc at the box office. Most of them are expecting the movie to take a record-breaking opening at the Indian box office. I am predicting that Avengers: Endgame would earn around 40 crores on its opening day in India (If released on 2000 screens). If the movie releases on around 3000 screens then it would earn 50+ crores.
