Ayushmann, Yami and Bhumi Pednekar dance as ‘Bala’ wraps up

Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam wrapped up shooting of Bala in Lucknow on Saturday. The cast shared pictures and videos of the celebrations on their social media handles.

Ayushmaan Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam wrapped up the shooting for their upcoming movie ‘Bala’ on Saturday. Actor Ayushmann plays the lead role of a man suffering from premature balding and how he deals with societies pretentious standards of beauty. Going by the video, it seems to be a private party with Ayushmann & Yami dancing like no one’s watching.

The two are seen performing the signature step of the dance number ‘Rum & Whisky’ from their hit movie ‘Vicky Donor’.

Yami looks fresh as a daisy in a black plunging neck dress while Ayushmann sports his million dollar smile along with a Black slogan tee and red bottoms. They are joined by a couple of friends, cast and crew of the ‘Bala’ movie as they celebrate the shoot wrap up.

He took to Twitter to share the photo of a cake and his heartfelt emotions as the shooting schedule comes to an end. He tweeted, “And it’s a wrap for #Bala. A film which will question the superficial definition of beauty in an entertaining way. Thank you #DineshVijan @amarkaushik @bhumipednekar @yamigautam @nowitsabhi @jaavedjaaferi and the entire cast and crew. This is going to be special. Nov 2019”

‘Bala’ is directed by Amar Kaushik, who is also the man behind the 2018 super hit film ‘Stree’. The film is slated to release in November 2019.

Ayushmann never ceases to amaze us with his choice of roles. His movies like ‘Vicky Donor, ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhaan’, ‘Badhaai Ho’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and ‘Article 15’ were not only well-received by the critics but also did well at the box office.

The actor will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ with Mr Bachchan, ‘Dream Girl’ and ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan’. The lineup looks fun and interesting for the Bala actor who’s had a great run at the Box-Office so far with ‘Article 15’.
