Bala 1st day box office collection: Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala is off to a very good opening, earned around 11.5 crores on the first day.
Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to deliver his 7th consecutive hit. The actor is on a roll as his latest release Bala is off to a solid opening at the box office. Released on 3000 screens in India (Ayushmann’s widest release), the film is off to a double-digit opening.
Bala has been in news for a long time for its subject. The film has also been in controversy for copyright issues. However, this controversy hasn’t affected the film’s opening at any level. Bala recorded around 25% occupancy in the morning shows on Friday. It witnessed superb growth as the day progressed. In fact, the occupancy in the night shows was as good as 60%-65%.
According to Taran Adarsh, Bala 1st day box office collection is 10.15 crores. It is the highest opening for Ayushmann Khurrana beating Dream Girl (10.05 crores). Compared to other films of 2019, Bala is the 11th or 12th highest opener of 2019 (depending on final numbers).
Bala has received rave reviews from critics. It is one of the highest-rated Bollywood movies of 2019. The word of mouth of the audience is also positive. If everything goes well, Bala is set for a big run at the box office. It has a good chance to become Ayushmann’s top grosser.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Bala is a social comedy featuring Ayushmann as a man who is suffering from baldness. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Javed Jaffrey and Saurabh Shukla in supporting roles.

The total budget of Bala including the production and advertising cost is around 45 crores. The film will be considered hit if it earns 60+ crores. It would be a blockbuster at 100+ crores.
