‘Bala’ has knocked it out of the park with a smashing Box Office record so far. The film’s supreme performance has brought another ‘soon-to-join 100-crore’ film in the kitty for Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar.
Ayushmann will mark soon his 100-crores grosser with ‘Bala’, ‘Dream Girl’ and ‘Badhai Ho’. For Yami, ‘Bala’ is her second 100-crore grosser after Kaabil (2017) and same for Bhumi after Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017).
The film collected an impressive amount of Rs 43.95 crores in its first weekend and jumped to a total of Rs 72 crores by its second weekend. The second week faired well for the social-comedy but the third week was off to a slow start.
The film minted Rs 2 crores on Monday, another Rs 2.05 crores on Tuesday and Rs 1.96 crores on Wednesday. The Box Office collections for ‘Bala’ stood at a whopping Rs 97 crores on 13th Day. The 14th-day collections summing up to Rs 1.80 crores will further push it closer to 100-crore mark.

As of now, Amar Kaushik’s ‘Bala’ is a mere 3 crores away from joining the respectable 100-crore club. If the slow but rising trend continues then ‘Bala’ will hopefully be joining the 100-crore club by the tomorrow i.e. the 14th day of its release.
The film that has been rewarded with great reviews and an even better ticket window collection has stood out as one of the most entertaining films of the year so far. Currently, the star cast is enjoying their time-off as they ride high on the success of their latest release.
