‘Bala’ earned quite well at the Box Office on Day 5, courtesy of the national holiday 550th Parv Prakash of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. After having a dream run at the Box Office during its opening weekend, the Box Office collections of ‘Bala’ dropped a little.
However, that hasn’t stopped the film fro racing towards 75 crore mark. The 5th-day collections of ‘Bala’ stood at a whopping Rs 9.52 crores because of the Guru Purab holiday across the country. The opening weekend sales recorded were: 10.15 crore on Friday, Rs 15.73 crores on Saturday and a staggering Rs 18.07 crores on Sunday.
Wednesday collection is Rs 5.20 Crore and now the total is 66.93 Crore. You can see, this is the smallest number but the second weekend is not so far. We can say Ayushmann’s third film is crossing 100 Crore after Badhai Ho and Dream Girl.
#Bala registers an expected decline [on Wed], after the holiday [on Tue]… Despite the dip, the film is a success story/Hit due to the controlled economics… Fri 10.15 cr, Sat 15.73 cr, Sun 18.07 cr, Mon 8.26 cr, Tue 9.52 cr, Wed 5.20 cr. Total: ₹ 66.93 cr. #India biz.

While the filmmakers and star cast are rejoicing their time celebrating the success of the movies, the Box Office collections are dropping gradually. For those who watched Sunny’s ‘Ujda Chaman’ enjoyed his story of a balding guy more than that of Ayushmann Khurrana’s.
Even though the plotline is interesting and word-of-mouth has helped in bringing the audience to the theatres, the overall impact of the film is average. The flawless storyline and ace acting performance by Siddharth Shukla and Bhumi Pednekar are one of the few good parts about ‘Bala’.
In our opinion, ‘Bala’s is equal parts funny and snoozy at the same time.
‘Bala’ star Ayushmann Khurrana. Javed Jaffrey, Siddhartha Shukla, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Productions. The film also marks Ayuhsmann’s second collaboration with Yami Gautam after 2014 super hit ‘Vicky Donor’ and also with Bhumi Pednekar after ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’.
‘Bala’s is Ayushmann Khurrana’s 7th successful Box Office venture after ‘Bareily Ki Barfi’, ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhaan’, ‘Badhai Ho’, ‘Article 15’, ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Dream Girl’. Next, Ayushmann will be reuniting with Shoojit Sircar for the comedy-drama ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, and play a gay man in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan
