Batla House 11th day collection: John Abraham’s Batla House had a good second Sunday, crosses 80 crore mark at the Indian box office.
John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer Batla House has emerged as one of the successful movies of the year. Released on 15 Aug 2019 alongside Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal, the Nikkhil Advani directional has crossed 80 crore mark on the 11th day of its release. It is currently the second-highest solo grosser for John Abraham.
Based on the Batla House encounter case, the movie has been performing quite well at the box office owing to good reviews and positive WOM. It’s been a satisfying box office journey for the film despite competition from Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal.
After a good opening with the collection of 15.55 crores, the hard-hitting drama film maintained momentum and earned 47.99 crores in the extended opening weekend.
After a good extended opening weekend, the film holds well on weekdays and collected 65.84 crores in the extended opening week.
In the second weekend, John starrer continued to perform well thanks to Janmashtmi holidays and no competition.

The total budget of Batla House including the production, advertising and salary of the star cast is around 75 crores. It will be considered hit if it crosses 90 crore mark. It will be considered average if it crosses 75 crores.
With no big competition till the release of Saaho (30 Aug 2019), Batla House will hold well in its second week. It would be interesting to see if it can become John Abraham’s first solo 100 crore grosser.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Batla House also stars Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan. It is based on real-life 2008 encounter that took place in Batla House in Jamia Nagar, Delhi. John played the role of ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who leads the operation.
