Batla House 2nd Day Box Office Collection: Steady On Friday

Batla House 7th Day Box Office Collection: John Abraham Starrer Continuous To Earn

Batla House 2nd day box office collection: After a decent opening day, John Abraham starrer remains steady on Friday, crosses 24 crore mark.

Just like last year Independence day, John Abraham and Akshay Kumar are fighting it out at the box office this year. Last year, we witnessed a tough box office battle when John Abraham’s Satyamev Jayate locked horns with Akshay Kumar’s Gold.

However, this year, Akshay Kumar is leading by a big margin. Mission Mangal first day collection (29.16 crores) was double of Batla House (15.55 crores). On the second day, this gap widened as Batla House failed to cross 10 crore mark on its second day.

As per Taran Adarsh, Batla House 2nd day box office collection is 8.84 crores. A drop of only 35% is excellent for a movie coming off a big holiday. But the problem here is that the opening day wasn’t as big as it was expected.

The total collection of Batla House after two days stands at 24.39 crores. The movie will witness good growth over the weekend. I am expecting it to cross 45 crore mark by the end of the opening weekend.

The total budget of Batla House including the production, advertising and salary of the star cast is around 75 crores. The movie will be considered hit if it crosses 90 crore mark. It will be considered average if it crosses 75 crores.

The real test for the movie will start on Monday once the extended weekend advantage is over. In my opinion, the movie would find it hard to sustain from Monday.

Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Batla House also stars Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan. The movie is based on real-life 2008 encounter that took place in Batla House in Jamia Nagar, Delhi. John played the role of ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who leads the operation.
