Batla House 7th Day Box Office Collection: John Abraham Starrer Continuous To Earn

Box Office report: Batla House continuous to collect despite competing with Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal.

Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Batla House is based on Batla House encounter that took place in September 2008. Starring John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur, the film has found appreciation and is on a steady run at the domestic box office.

Batla House is John Abraham’s second consecutive Independence Day release. Last year his film Satyamev Jayate clashed with Akshay Kumar’s Gold and collected more than 90 crores. This year, Batla House is holding its ground despite a massive competition from Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal.

After a decent extended opening weekend with the collection of 48+ crores, the film is holding well on weekdays. As per early estimates, Batla House 7th day box office collection is around 4.5 crores. The total collection of the film after seven days stands at 62+ crores. Here’s a look at day-wise box office collection of Batla House:

Day 1 – Thursday (August 15) – 15.55 crores

Day 2 – Friday (August 16) – 8.84 crores

Day 3 – Saturday (August 17) – 10.90 crores

Day 4 – Sunday (August 18) – 12.70 crores

Day 5 – Monday (August 19) – 5.05 crores

Day 6 – Tuesday (August 20) – 4.78 crores

Day 7 – Wednesday (August 21) – 4.50 crores (approx)

Total 7 days collection: 62+ crores

The total budget of Batla House including the production, advertising and salary of the star cast is around 75 crores. It will be considered hit if it crosses 90 crore mark. It will be considered average if it crosses 75 crores.

Batla House will end the extended opening week with the collection of 65+ crores. With no big competition till the release of Saaho, the film is expected to hold well. I am expecting the film to earn at least 85 crores in its lifetime.

Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Batla House also stars Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan. It is based on real-life 2008 encounter that took place in Batla House in Jamia Nagar, Delhi. John played the role of ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who leads the operation.
