Bharat 2nd day box office collection: After a record-breaking opening day, Salman Khan’s Bharat holds well, earned 31 crores on Thursday.
Salman Khan’s Bharat had a record-breaking opening day with the collection of 42.3 crores. The film exceeded expectations on the first day as trade was expecting 35-38 crore opening. After a huge opening day, the movie took a slow start on Thursday (2nd day).
The film recorded around 25% occupancy in the morning shows on Thursday. This is a big drop compared to the first day when the film opened to 65% occupancy in the morning shows. However, the movie witnessed superb growth as the day progressed.
The movie recorded 70% to 75% occupancy in the evening and night shows. Mass centres/single screens remained rock-solid and dropped by just 10%-15% compared to the first day. Overall, the movie recorded 55%-60% occupancy on Thursday. The movie had a record-breaking opening due to a national holiday on account of Eid. A drop of just 30% on the second day is a good sign,

As per Taran Adarsh, Bharat 2nd day box office collection is 31 crores. This is a very good hold for a film which had a record-breaking opening day. The total collection of the movie after two days stands at 73.3 crores. Salman Khan film should be targeting 150+ crore opening weekend (5 days).

Salman Khan’s film had a huge opening day. It earned 42.3 crores to become the third highest opening day grosser of Bollywood after Thugs of Hindostan (52.25 crores) and Happy New Year (44.97 crores). It also becomes Salman Khan’s highest opening day grosser beating Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (40.35 crores).

Bharat is director Ali Abbas Zafar’s third film after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both films proved blockbusters and the same is expected from this one.
Produced by T-Series and Salman Khan Films, Bharat is an official adaptation of Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’. Apart from Salman and Katrina, the movie stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover in the lead roles.
