Bharat 5th day box office collection: Salman Khan’s film remained flat on Sunday, crosses 150 crore mark in the opening weekend.
As expected, Salman Khan‘s Bharat gets hit by India Vs Australia cricket match on Sunday. The movie remained flat on Sunday with collection looking in the same range as Saturday. Bharat failed to touch 150 crore mark in the opening week (5 days) which is definitely not a good sign. The trending is not as strong as Salman’s blockbusters like Tiger Zinda hai and Sultan. Let’s have a detailed look at Bharat 5th day box office collection report.
Bharat day 5 occupancy report
Bharat started the fifth day (Sunday) on a positive note, witnessing good growth in the morning and noon shows. The film has received positive reviews however the word of mouth is mixed. The real test will start today. The trending is not as strong as Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. However, it is better than Race 3 and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Bharat should enter 200 crore club. But, it seems that it will struggle to touch 250 crore mark. Here’s a look at day-wise box office collection of Bharat:
- First Day: 42.3 crores
- Second Day: 31 crores
- Third Day: 22.2 crores
- Fourth Day: 26.7 crores
- Fifth Day: 27.9 crores
Bharat earned 42.3 crores to become the third highest opening day grosser of Bollywood after Thugs of Hindostan (52.25 crores) and Happy New Year (44.97 crores). It also becomes Salman Khan’s best opener beating Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo (40.35 crores).
Bharat is director Ali Abbas Zafar’s third film after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both films proved blockbusters and the same is expected from this one. Produced by T-Series and Salman Khan Films, Bharat is an official adaptation of Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’. Apart from Salman and Katrina, the movie stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover in the lead roles.
