Sara Ali Khan to romance Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Contrary to earlier reports, not Ananya Pande but Sara Ali Khan has been chosen as the female lead actress to pair opposite Kartik Aaryan in Akshay Kumar’s 2007 film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ remake.

The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor Kartik Aaryan had been roped in to play the lead protagonist role in the remake of Akshay Kumar’s 2007 super hit ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. Directed by Anees Bamzee, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ will also see Akshay Kumar in a cameo role.

However, the lead actress had to yet to be finalized. Just yesterday, rumours were rife that Kartik’s co-star from ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’, Ananya Pandey was interested in the role.

But the news has it that not Ananya Pandey but Kartik’s another female co-star from Imtiaz Ali’ ‘Aaj Kal’, Sara Ali Khan has been finalized for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan recently finished shooting for their film ‘Aaj Kal’ in Himachal Pradesh.

Sara even shared some behind-the-screen shots from the sets of the film where she will be seen romancing Bollywood’s hottest hunk, Kartik Aaryan.

In a heartfelt note on Instagram, she thanked the makers and especially Kartik Aaryan for being by her side throughout the schedule.

Kartik seemed to grope in a protective arm around Sara hen the two were moped by fans in Lucknow the day before.

Just yesterday the paparazzi spotted them at Sara’s ancestral home, ‘Pataudi Palace’ in Delhi. He, along with Ibrahim Ali Khan was also seen cheering for Sara as she walked the ramp for the first time in Delhi.

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ will be marked as Kartik-Sara’s second project together. The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s ‘T-Series’. The excitement around the film is already developing amongst the fans.

Only time will tell if the sizzling new pair can re-create the same charm that Akshay-Vidya’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ created about 12 years ago.
