CAA Protests: Kangana Ranaut calls Bollywood stars spineless and cowards for staying silent

Kangana Ranaut lashes out on Bollywood celebrities for remaining silent over the CAA protests that have shaken the nation. She calls the ‘sissies, spineless and cowards’.

Kanagana Ranaut is known to have an unapologetically loud mouth. The ‘Queen’ actress is famous for giving out her two cents on every matter of national interest, sometimes demeaning and disgracing fellow Bollywood celebs.

This time Kangana called out the A-lister Bollywood celebrities for staying shut on a graving matter like the CAA protests in Jamia Milia Islamia in New Delhi and 700+ other institutes that have joined the movement.

Talking about the #ShameOnBollywood twitter trend, Kangana said in an interview, that Bollywood celebrities are nothing but cowards who are afraid of the repercussions of expressing their thoughts on matters like the CAA protests.

She said the stars are too full of themselves because all they do is look in the mirror 20 times a day and live in fancy houses with water and electricity.

She said their social media is all about clothes, makeup, gym and hanging out but nothing constructive that adds value to protests like these. Derogatory remarks like ‘spineless’ and ‘sissies’ were used for Bollywood biggies.

When asked about their fear of judgement she said, the stars are indifferent as they come from privileged backgrounds.  The stars claim themselves to be artists who shouldn’t be involved in controversial matters, she added. She accused them of thinking that they are above the nation.

She wronged their fans saying that these people didn’t deserve to be the torchbearers of India. The ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ actress furthered her case by saying that there was no hope for these Bollywood celebrities.

Kangana said that Bollywood celebs are at a threshold of great possibility now’s the time when decisive decisions are being taken. We know our boundaries, borders and population which wasn’t the case with previous governments that never set any rules. Kangana believed that the #ShameOnBollywood act was justified as the Bollyood celebs have a responsibility towards their nation, which they have failed at.

Bollywood’s celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Sayani Gupta Swara Bhasker, Siddharth Malhotra, Ananya Pandey, Richa Chaddha, Vicky Kaushal and many others have expressed their rage against the bill on Twitter. However, some of them like Farhan Akhtar and Akshay Kumar have found themselves in a boil owing to little mistakes in their tweets.
