Chhapaak Box Office Collection Day 5: Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak remained flat at the box office, collected around Rs 2.4 crore on Tuesday (5th day).

Deepika Padukone Chhapaak is struggling at the box office. Despite holiday in some states of the country, the collections didn’t saw any growth. This pretty much tells the story. The film has been rejected by the masses and even Tier-1 and Tier-2 audience look uninterested in the film. The film has an average weekend with the collection of Rs 19.02 crore.

After a low opening weekend, the film s struggling big time at the box office. It witnessed a drop of more than 50% on Monday compared to the opening day. Now, as per the reports coming, it remained flat on Tuesday (5th day) despite the big advantage of Makar Sankranti holiday.

Early trends suggest that Chhapaak collected Rs 2.40 crore on Tuesday (day 5). The business could have been lower if there was a working day. The total collection of the film after five days stands at around Rs 24 crore. 

So far, Chhapaak had a poor run at the box office. Despite superb reviews, the film failed big time. It had an average opening with the collection of Rs 4.77 crore. It saw limited growth on Saturday (Rs 6.90 crore) and Sunday (Rs 7.35 crore) to end the first weekend on a poor note.

The trend on weekdays ensures that Chhapaak is a flop. It is one of those films which failed despite good content. It would be difficult for the film to sustain after the first week. The film will be a box office flop with the lifetime collection of around Rs 40 crore.
