Dabangg 3 8th day box office collection: Salman Khan’s masala entertainer saw a huge drop on its second Friday, collected around Rs 3.5 crore.
Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 was expected to storm the box office but that didn’t happen. In the first week, the film was severely affected due to protests against CAA. While the bare minimum expectation was around Rs 150 crore, Dabangg 3 earned just Rs 126.55 crore in the first week. The film lost around Rs 20 crore in the first week. Moreover, the mixed reviews haven’t helped the film either.
After a decent opening week, Dabangg 3 has started the second week on a low note. There is a huge reduction in the screen count due to a new release Good Newwz. As per the reports coming, the film faces a huge drop in the numbers on its 8th day. However, the occupancy on the second Friday was higher than the first Thursday.
Early estimates suggest that Dabangg 3 day 8 box office collection would be around Rs 3.5 crore. The total collection of the film after 8 days stands at Rs 130 crore. Now, the first target of the film should be to cross Rs 150 crore mark.
Dabangg 3 is set for good growth over the second weekend. Ideally, it should touch Rs 145 crore mark by the end of the second weekend. It remains to be seen, how the film performs after the second weekend.
Dabangg 3 economics
The budget of Dabangg 3 is around Rs 125 crore. It will be considered a hit if it crosses Rs 150 crore. It will be considered average if it crosses Rs 125 crore. Dabangg 3 is a profitable venture for the makers as it has already recovered a huge amount from satellite, music and overseas rights. As per the reports coming, the film has recovered more than Rs 100 crore through satellite and digital rights.
