‘Zaira Wasim took to twitter to share her two-cents on the ongoing violent protests in Delhi. The utterly heart-breaking protests in Delhi have caused unimaginable death to life, property and livelihood of hundreds of those living in East Delhi. According to reports, Delhi Police Officer Ratan Lal also lost his life during the armed shooting in Maujpur area of Delhi.

Like others, Bollywood actress Zaira Wasim too couldn’t control her emotions as she tweeted a world-famous shayari by Indori Rahat on Twitter. In a two-tweet message, Zaira wrote,’O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do -Qur’an 5:8′. She added, ‘Insaaf zaalimon ki himaayat main jayega, Ye haal hai toh kaun adalat main jayega’
Zaira posted a verse from Quran clearly shows how appalled the actress is given the plight of those living in the violent areas of Delhi. With her tweet, she also taunts the Central Government as the suppressors take to the streets. Her tweet means, ‘If the Central government supports those who spread violence then who would go to courts seeking for justice?’
Zaira Wasim, former Bollywood actress played the role of ‘Aisha’ in Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘The Sky Is Pink’. The film was critically praised and so was Zaira’s Wasim’s debut. However, the actress later announced her retirement from showbiz stating that the profession made her do things against her religion.
