Hollywood Superstar Dwayne Johnson might join Bollywood soon

Dwayne Johnson a.k.a. The Rock said that working on a Bollywood film would be fun for him. He shares a lot of respect for Bollywood and it’s history. The wrestler-turned-actor might be seen in Bollywood film soon.

During the promotional tour of ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’, the actor was seen indulging in a conversation about Bollywood. When asked about his plans to join Bollywood, he said that he wouldn’t rule out the possibility of joining Bollywood. He said he loved and respected the history of Hindi cinema. The action hero said that it would be fun being a part of a Bollywood action film.

Talking about the stars of tinsel town, he mentioned the ‘Judwaa 2’ star Varun Dhawan. He said Varun often interacts with him through social media. Dwayne said that Varun is a big fan and also a huge star in India. He also talked about his immense fan following in India which might be compelling enough for him to find a ticket to Bollywood. Dwayne is also great friends with ‘Baywatch’ co-star Priyanka Chopra who is the official ‘Desi Girl’ of Bollywood.

Besides a glorious ring record, he has some popular film likes ‘The Mummy Returns’, ‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’, ‘Hercules’, ‘Snitch’, ‘Moana’ and ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’ to his name. Currently, the star is gearing up for the release of ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’. The film is the second installment of the ‘Jumanji’ franchise where he has also taken up the Producer seat. The movie is based on the story of a young Alan Parrish who gets trapped in a board game. Later on, finds its way to the silver screen in 1995. Late Robin Williams was its main lead.

‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Nick Jonas. New addition to the cast include Awkwafina, Danny DeVito and Danny Glover. Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release ‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ on December 13, 2019, in Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu.
