Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan will star together for the first time in Rumi Jaffery’s next titled Khel. The film will go on floors on 10 May 2019.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi will be seen together for the first time in Rumi Jaffery’s next. The film is titled Khel and is going to be a slick thriller.
If reports are to be believed then film is an adaptation of the famous stage drama Wrong Turn, which was inspired by the German short story Break Down. Veteran actors Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla will also be seen in the film.
A report in Bollywood Hungama states that Rhea Chakraborty and Kriti Kharbanda has been roped in to play females leads in the film. Since this is not a typical hero-heroine film, the leads are not paired opposite each other.
Rumy Jaffery is elated to work again with Amitabh Bachchan. He has earlier worked with him in ‘God Tussi Great Ho.’ “From the moment Bachchan Saab agreed to be on board he has taken a keen interest in the project. I consider myself very lucky to have him in my film. It is every filmmaker’s dream to work with him. My challenge was to do something with him that he hadn’t done before. I think I’ve come up with a plot that will feature Bachchan Saab like never before”, he said.
The film goes on floors on May 10 and will be shot in Mumbai itself. Produced by Anand Pandit, it is slated to release on February 21, 2020. Amitabh and Emraan fans are super elated with this collaboration. The union of the two big stars is bound to get moviegoers excited.
