Couldn’t be a better way to celebrate the opera we call “life and love”….. wishing you all a “Happy Valentines” from the steps of the most historic VIENNA STATE OPERA @wienerstaatsoper … You can’t be married to an Austrian without being serenaded at the grand Viennese Opera. Vienna State Opera is mesmerising and for us it has always been such a welcome cultural and historic break, in a world of electronic entertainment. The opera house was the first major building on the Vienna Ringstrasse commissioned by the Viennese "city expansion fund". Work commenced on the house in 1861 and was completed in 1869, following plans drawn up by architects August Sicard von Sicardsburg and Eduard van der Nüll. The opera house was inaugurated as the "Vienna Court Opera" (Wiener Hofoper) in the presence of Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth of Austria. #mustsee #valentines #viennaopera #viennastaatsoper #vienna #visitaustria #austrian #austriangirl #austrianboy #europe #europeanlife #internationalfamily #celina #celinajaitly #celinajaitley #bollywood #bollywoodactress #missindia #missuniverse #beautyqueen #gratitude #valentine

The perks of unpacking. Again and again. Memories are never entirely boxed up. . ‘I won’t hide it: I’m so unused to being — well, understood, perhaps, — so unused to it, that in the very first minutes of our meeting I thought: this is a joke… But then… And there are things that are hard to talk about — you’ll rub off their marvelous pollen at the touch of a word… You are lovely… […] Yes, I need you, my fairy-tale. Because you are the only person I can talk with about the shade of a cloud, about the song of a thought — and about how, when I went out to work today and looked a tall sunflower in the face, it smiled at me with all of its seeds.’ – Vladimir Nobokov to Vera via @brainpicker #helloSingapore #hellounpacking #shaadiphotos
