Good Newwz Lifetime Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Good Newwz’ becomes a box office blockbuster as it crosses Rs 300 crore mark worldwide.
Released on 27 Dec 2019, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Good Newwz’ is still going strong at the box office. The film collected around Rs 1 crore on its 21st day to take its total domestic collection to Rs 195+ crore. With still some fuel left in the tank, Good Newwz should enter 200 crore club by the end of the fourth week.
Good Newwz will be Akshay Kumar’s 3rd consecutive Rs 200 crore grosser after Mission Mangal and Housefull. 2019 was a hugely successful year for Akshay as he delivered four biggest hits of his career. He shattered many box office records. He became the only actor to score a hattrick of 100 crore grossers in a year. With Good Newwz, Akshay becomes the only Bollywood actor to gross 1000 crore in a year.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar starrer Good Newwz has grossed Rs 300 crore worldwide. It is his second film after 2.0 to achieve this feat. Good Newwz has so far collected Rs 70+ crore in the overseas market. In India, the film collected Rs 195 crore (nett). The gross collection in India is Rs 232+ crore. Thus, the worldwide collection of the film has grossed Rs 300 crore mark.

It had a pretty solid opening with the collection of Rs 17.56 crore. The business witnessed a huge growth in the first weekend thanks to positive WOM. Good Newwz collected Rs 64.99 crore in the first weekend.
New year holidays provided the much-needed boost to the earnings as the film continued to dominate the box office. It collected Rs 127.1 crore in the first week. In the second week, the film continued to do well as there was no competition. It collected Rs 53.46 crore in the second week.
