Housefull 4 trailer: Promises a laughter riot with too much confusion and comedy

Housefull 4 Trailer: The official trailer of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Housefull 4’ has been released. Here’s our trailer review.

Earlier today, the trailer for ‘Housefull 4’ was leaked online at 1 pm. It was the exact same time when the makers were scheduled to release the trailer. The now-removed video had the lead stars like Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde and Riteish Deshmukh living two lives in different eras.

The ancient era of 14 19 showcased the dearest Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Bobby Deol as sons of the Raja of Sitamgarh who wants to hold a ‘Swayamwar’ for his sons. But in the present day, the three have been unsuccessful in finding true love. This is when Akshay is flooded with memories of their past lives.

The three minutes thirty-seven-second long trailer opens with Akshay Kumar’s husky voice setting the base for the plot. The trailer looks all grand and larger-than-life, set in the suburbs of London and the mighty Jaisalmer Palace in Rajasthan.

As always the ladies steal the show with their beauty and done-to-perfection costumes. Even the men of the film fair quite well in the styling department. Riteish Deshmukh rocks the spiked hair and coloured jackets and Akshay looks fabulous in grey hair and beard.

Like all other ‘Housefull’ films, this one also features mismatched weddings. There’s also a scene where Riteish and Bobby shout, ‘Hum apni biwiyon se shaadi kar rahe hain ya bhabhiyon se’. Now, the confusing, mildly-funny and super confusing trailer shows Akshay convincing the pack to marry their true loves from the past.

Directed by Farhad Samji, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film also stars Chunky Pandey as ‘Aakhri Pasta’ and Rana Duggabatti along with Nawazuddin Siddique. The film is slated to release on 26 October 2019. It will clash with Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Made In China’ and Taapsee-Bhumi starrer ‘Saand Ki Aankh’.
