Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan are all set to recreate the magic on the big screen. Joining them is mighty talented Alia Bhatt.

The reunion of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan after a long time is making headlines. After Khamoshi – The Musical, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Saawariya, the duo has collaborated for a romantic saga titled Inshallah. For the first time, Alia Bhatt will be seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan.

The big age gap between Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt has been the talking point ever since the announcement of the film. However, reports are doing rounds that it is a unique kind of love story for all age groups.

While the rumours and speculations are high, the latest report in Pinkvilla suggests that Inshallah is inspired by Salman Khan‘s ’90s movie.

Talking about the story, a source close to the films said, “Inshallah will bring back the Bhansali we had seen in films like Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. It’s a romantic saga that won’t have lavish sets but will be shot at real locations.”

Another source said, “It is a story of a 40-plus businessman played by Salman Khan who’s carefree and not as serious about his life as men his age would be. His father tells him that he will give him all his wealth only on one condition – he has to fall in love and change his lifestyle”.

“Alia plays an aspiring actress who Salman pays to fool his father. They fake a relationship but in the course of doing so, how they actually fall in love with each other and how their world collides is what Inshallah is all about.”

The plot is similar to Salman Khan’s 1999 movie, Jaanam Samjha Karo, which starred Urmila Matondkar opposite him.

Meanwhile, Salman is currently busy shooting for Dabangg 3 which is scheduled in Dec 2019. Alia is busy with Brahmastra and Sadak 2. Inshallah is expected to go on floors by the end of September. To be co-produced by Salman Khan Films and SLB films, Inshallah will hit the big screens on Eid 2020.
