John Abraham to co-produce and play a lead actor in the latest movie, ‘Attack’. The film is a fictional action-thriller which is based on a real life hostage event that brought the nation to a stall.
John’s love for action-thriller is no stranger to the world. His par excellent performance in films like ‘Parmanu’, ‘Force 2’, ‘Madras Cafe’, ‘Shootout at Wadala’ speak volumes about his love affair with the action genre.
John’s Mumbai-based production house, JA Entertainment has come together with Dheeraj Wadhawan and Ajay Kapoor from Kyta Productions to co-produce the latest venture ‘Attack: A race against time’. The two movie-churning houses have worked together on great films like ‘Parmanu’ and ‘RAW’.
‘Attack’ is a fictional story based on true events of a hostage situation in India that brought national unrest in the country.
The story is based on the rescue mission of the ‘Attack team’ that was lead by a lone ranger, played by John Abraham. Lakshay Aanand Raj will take over the film as his debutant project. He also happens to be the writer of the film.

Talking about the film John said, “Attack is taut, interesting thriller with a strong storyline and genre that I love! I am happy that Dheeraj and Ajay are on board this very interesting project.
He said, “At JA Entertainment, we believe in ‘Content first’. It is our endeavour to push the envelope and produce films that entertain and have something to show to the increasingly discerning audience.”
The co-producer, Ajay Kapoor joined in to add, “Attack has an intelligent and engaging story, which needs to be told for audiences of the younger generation. Working with John Abraham and his production banner has been a pleasure as we think alike on films. We look forward to his exciting collaborations.”
The film will hopefully be a happy comeback for John after a series of Box-Office duds in the past couple of years. It is slated to go on floors in December 2019.
