John and Ajay Devgn to clash on Independence Day, John locked 15 Aug 2020

John Abraham’s ‘Attack’ to come to blows with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ on 15 August 2020. Last year, John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’ clashed with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’ at the Box Office.

John Abraham announced his latest project ‘Attack’ with the release date of 14 August 2019. ‘Attack’ is an action-thriller packed with the flavors of patriotism (a genre John loves). The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles. ‘Attack’ will mark John’s third consecutive Independence Day release in the last three years.

‘Satyamev Jayate’ hit the theaters on Independence Day 2018. ‘Batla House’ released on Independence Day 2019 and ‘Attack’ is all set for Independence Day release for 2020.

Made out of a budget of Rs 100 crores, Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ is based on the Indo-Pak war of 1971. The film will see Ajay Devgn essay the role of Squadran Leader Vijay Karnik who lead the war against Pakistan. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Parineeti Chopra, Rana Duggubati and Ammy Virk in pivotal roles.

‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ is the celebration of 300 women who helped reconstruct the demolished Indian Air Force airstrip at Bhuj in Gujarat. The war movie written and directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya and produced by Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Abhishek Dudhaiya. It is being made on a budget of Rs 100 crores.

John Abraham seems to have graduated from comedy to action to patriotic genre of cinema. The actor has established himself as the patriotic hero with a good calling among his fans with films like ‘Satyamev Jayate’, ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’ and ‘Batla House’.

‘Attack’ is an action-thriller based on true events from a hostage crisis situation. Directed by debutante Lakshya Raj Anand and produced by John Abraham’s JA Entertainment, the film is touted to be gut-wrenching film for those who love the patriotic cinema.  The fictional film will see John Abraham essay the role of the savior of the nation. He uses his military prowess and analytical mind skills to save the country from all criminals.

John is currently soaking in the success of his latest release ‘Pagalpanti’. The film released on 29 November has performed decently at the Box Office. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the movie also stars Pulkit Samrat, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Illeana D’Cruz, Urvashi Rautela and Kirti Kharbanda in pivotal roles.
