While the mind-blowing teaser impressed one and all, the trailer has certainly raised the excitement level. Shahid Kapoor is killing it as an alcoholic surgeon who has anger-management issues. After Haider, Kaminey and Udta Punjab, Kabir Singh looks like Shahid Kapoor’s best performance.
Shahid plays a titular role of Kabir Singh who is an alcoholic surgeon and goes on a self-destructive path after his ex-lover marries someone else. He is deadly, dangerous and aggressive to the core. Kiara Advani looks impressive as a simple and sober girl.
The trailer gives you an adrenaline rush. Definitely one of the best in recent times. The background music, the drama, the love and romance looks real and rough.
The trailer looks promising and it seems that we are in for a very good film. Kabir Singh is an official remake of 2017 blockbuster Telugu film Arjun Reddy Telugu which starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles.
Arjun Reddy is written and directed by Sandeep Vanga. He has now directed the Hindi remake. Going by the trailer, it seems that Vanga has de it as raw and thrilling was the original one.
Kabir Singh is co-produced by T-Series and Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios. The film is slated for release on 21 June 2019.
