Nirbhaya Case: Kangana Ranaut slams Indira Jaising, wants rapists to be hanged to death in public

Talking about the 2012 Nirbhaya rape and murder case, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut sympathized with the victim’s parents and said that government should set an example by hanging the four culprits to death in public.
The Panga Queen expressed her displeasure and disgust when asked about the delayed death sentence for the fur rapists involved in the Nirbhaya rape case. Their prolonged death punishment has outraged the entire nation including Kangana Ranaut, who said that they should be hanged in public to set an example.
She said no mercy should be shown to those who tortured, mutilated and raped the innocent girl in 2009. She added that her parents had been fighting the battle for a very long time and their daughter deserved every piece of justice.
Senior lawyer Indira Jaising had requested Nirbhaya’s mother Asha Devi to forgive her culprits. She wrote on Twitter that Asha Devi should follow the steps of Sonia Gandhi who forgave her husband’s killer Nalini because the death penalty was too harsh a punishment for anyone. An outraged Kangana said that Indira too should be jailed with the convicts because of her statement. These are the kind of women who give birth to these monsters, said Kangana.

While I fully identify with the pain of Asha Devi I urge her to follow the example of Sonia Gandhi who forgave Nalini and said she didn’t not want the death penalty for her . We are with you but against death penalty. https://t.co/VkWNIbiaJp

Kangana Ranaut is not the one to stay quiet on such pressing matters like the Nirbhaya case. Right from taking a stand against CAA NRC and openly talking about nepotism in Bollywood, Kangana has proved that her voice cannot be curbed. Currently, she is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Panga’. The film is scheduled to hit the theatre screens tomorrow.
Panga, directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari also stars Jassie Gill, Richa Chaddha, Neena Gupta and Pankaj Tripathi. The film is based on the life of a national level Kabbadi player from India. It records the sports woman’s victories, failure and trysts with family as she goes on to break the shackles of societal stereotypes. The film posters have been well-received so far.
