Kesari 12th Day Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar’s Kesari crosses 128 crore mark on the 12th day of its release, all set to become his highest grossing movie.
After a good extended opening week with the collection of 105.86 crores, Akshay Kumar‘s Kesari is holding strong in the second week. Despite the release of Notebook and Junglee, Kesari is the first choice of the moviegoers in the current week.
The movie has a positive start in the second week as it earned 4.45 crores on its second Friday. It witnessed good growth over the second weekend and earned 6.45 crores and 8.25 crores on its second Saturday and Sunday respectively.
#Kesari attracts abundant footfalls in Weekend 2… Should comfortably cross *lifetime biz* of #ToiletEPK and emerge Akshay Kumar’s highest grossing film, after #2Point0 [#Hindi]… [Week 2] Fri 4.45 cr, Sat 6.45 cr, Sun 8.25 cr. Total: ₹ 125.01 cr. India biz.

#Kesari biz at a glance…
Week 1: ₹ 105.86 cr [8 days]
Weekend 2: ₹ 19.15 cr
Total: ₹ 125.01 cr
Biz has stabilised outside North India [which is doing excellent biz from Day 1]… Should touch/cross ₹ 150 cr, in view of the current trending. India biz.— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) April 1, 2019
On its second Monday, the movie holds well and dropped by just 25% compared to second Friday. As per early estimates, Kesari 12th day box office collection would be around 3.25 crores. The total collection of the movie after 12 days stands at 128.26 crores.
With the current trend, Kesari should cross 150 crore mark in its lifetime. It is all set to become Akshay Kumar’s highest grossing movie. Currently, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (135 crores) is Akshay Kumar’s highest grossing movie outside 2.0.
The total budget of Kesari including the promotion and advertising cost is 100 crores. It needs to earn 130 crores to be declared a box office hit.
The movie should cross this figure by Wednesday. I am expecting the movie to earn 135 crores by the end of the second week.
