Lal Singh Chaddha Starcast: Kareena Kapoor Khan Joins Aamir Khan

After 3 Idiots and Talaash, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan will recreate the magic on the big screen in Lal Singh Chaddha. The film is an official adaptation of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump.

Aamir Khan is known for films which are entertaining and yet carry social messages. Aamir’s last film Thugs of Hindostan tanked at the box office and now the fans are waiting for his next. On his birthday this year, Aamir announced his next film.

His next is Lal Singh Chaddha, an official adaptation of Tom Hanks cult classic Forrest Gump. To be directed by Advait Chauhan, the film will feature Aamir stepping into Tom Hanks shoes. For the past few days, reports started to come that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been approached for the film.

Well, these reports are indeed true. As per a recent report in Bombay Times, Kareena Kapoor Khan has signed Lal Singh Chaddha as a leading lady. After 3 Idiots and Talaash, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan will recreate the magic on the big screen and their fans must be super delighted with this news.

The film will be co-produced by Aamir Khan and Viacom 18. Ajit Andhare, COO Viacom 18 has confirmed that the team is happy to be backing Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha.

The film is expected to go on floors in the last quarter of this year. More details regarding the star cast will be announced soon. The film will hit the big screens on Christmas 2020.
