Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter, Saiee to romance Salman in Dabangg 3

The third edition of Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg franchise will have Salman Khan and Saiee Manjrekar as the leading Jodi. Earlier, Mahesh’s elder daughter Ashwami had been chosen for the role but she refused to take the offer.

The rumours were rife that Mahesh Manjrekar’s elder daughter, Ashami had been finalized as the female lead for Salman’s Dabangg 3.

However, the role ultimately landed in the hands of Saiee Manjrekar, the younger daughter, as Ashwani had no interest in pursuing a career in acting. Now, Saiee Manjrekar’s will make her Bollywood debut opposite Robin Hood aka Salman Khan.

As per reports, the Arbaaz Khan Production film will be a prequel to Dabangg and Dabangg 2. The movie will be based on the college life of Chulbul Pandey who went onto become Bollywood’s favourite cop, Robin Hood Pandey.

Saaie will be essaying the role of Salman’s love interest from college days. The two have already short major chunks of their scenes together which also includes a romantic song.

Besides, Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan will make a comeback in Dabangg 3 as Chulbul Pandey’s onscreen wife and brother. Dimple Kapadia will play his mother, while Mahie Gill will play Arbaaz’s wife.

The film will be directed by choreographer-turned-director Prabhudeva while the first two editions were directed by Abhinav Kashyap and Arbaaz Khan.

The film will also see South star Kichcha Sudeep as parallel lead, not the villain in the film. Kichcha Sudeep and Salman Khan will be seen in a tom-and-jerry fight equation while sharing screen space in the film. The film is set to release on 20 December 2019.

Salman has been actively sharing snippets from his shooting days for Dabangg 3. The actors are currently shooting in a small town called Phaltan on the outskirts of Maharashtra. Some clips ad photos from the sets went viral on the internet yesterday.
