Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani starrer ‘Malang’ is having a good run at the box office. Released with low expectations, the Mohit Suri’s directional recorded decent opening at the box office. It witnessed good growth over the weekend and is now holding well on weekdays. After a drop of around 40% on Monday, the film remained steady with just a 5% drop on Tuesday.
Despite mixed reviews from the critics, the film has found appreciation from the audience. On Tuesday, the film recorded around 25% occupancy which is a very good number for a film which has no big stars. As per early estimates, Malang 5th day box office collection is around Rs 3.80 crore. The total collection after 5 days is Rs 33+ crore.
With literally no drop on Tuesday, the film is now looking to end the first week with very good numbers. It should cross Rs 40 crore mark in the first week and then look for a steady run in the second week.
