The ‘Ek Villain’ duo Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh have been successfully drawing in audiences into theatres. However, the film is only performing well in single screens and smaller multiplexes in states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, UP, Bihar and Rajasthan. The second Friday sales of the film will finally decide the fate of Sidharth-Tara starrer.
Fortunately, Sidharth has successfully come back from a big career lump that he experienced with Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Jabariya Jodi’. It proved to be a big dud which put Sidharth under a lot of pressure to come back stronger than ever. In ‘Marjaavan’, Sidharth has impressed audiences with his angry-young-lover character that is also quite similar to ‘Raghu’ from ‘Ek Villain’. So far, he has been successful in shedding off his chocolate boy image.
‘Marjaavan’ also marks the reunion of the 2014 super hit ‘Ek Villain’ trio Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Milap Zaveri.
