Mission Mangal & Batla House 12th day box office collection: Both movies remained steady on the second Monday.
This year Independence Day turned out a good one for Bollywood. Released on Independence Day, Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House have made it to the successful films of the year.
Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal has emerged as his biggest solo hit. It is on a dream run at the Indian box office by collecting more than 165 crores in just 12 days. It is currently the 4th highest Bollywood grosser of 2019 after Uri: The Surgical Strike, Bharat and Kabir Singh.
Mission Mangal may have consumed its target audience but it is still having a good hold over the audience. After a good second weekend with the collection of 35+ crores, Akshay Kumar starrer holds well on its second Monday.
As per early estimates, Mission Mangal 12th day box office collection is around 4.3 crores. After 12 days, the total lifetime collection of the movie stands at around 169 crores. Will it cross 200 crore mark? Only time will tell.
On the other hand, John Abraham’s Batla House is also having a steady run at the domestic box office. The film has found appreciation among the critics and audience. Despite massive competition from Mission Mangal, this hard-hitting drama managed to make it big at the box office.
As per early estimates, Batla 12th day box office collection is around 2.7 crores. After 12 days, the total lifetime collection of Batla stands at around 86 crores. The Nikkhil Advani directional has a chance to enter 100 crore club. All it has to do is sustain for 10 more days.
Both movies will see a massive drop in the collection with the release of Saaho on 30 Aug 2019. Prabhas starrer is one of the most awaited movies and is expected to take a huge opening at the box office.
