Mr Lele: Varun Dhawan and Dulhania team reunites, here’s complete details

Varun Dhawan shared the first look of ‘Mr Lele’, his next film with Shashank Khaitan. The two have already worked together in films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya 2014 and Badrinath Ki Dulhania in 2017.

The Dharma Productions’ head Karan Johar took to Twitter yesterday to share the good news about his next film as a producer. As per Karan’s tweet, the ‘Dulhaniya’ franchise Jodi Varun Dhawan and director Shashank Khaitan will be reuniting for yet another film called ‘Mr Lele’. The director claims it to be a ‘maha entertainer with a dash of crazy’.

Karan’s Dharma Productions’ also tweeted about the upcoming exciting film from their official handle. The tweets said that this time the ‘Dulhaniya’ duo won’t be looking for their bride, instead, they will be raising laughter havoc on-screen. The tweet was closed with a funny one-liner – ‘Thoda aur mazza le le. Subsequently, the Dharma Productions handle also shared the first poster of the film that looks funny right from the first look. The tweet read the dream team is back that will kick-start 2021 on an epic note as the film releases on 1 January 2021.

Varun also shared the same poster on his social media accounts. Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Nora Fatehi, Shilp Shetty, Daboo Ratnani and Ekta Kapoor praised Varun for his guts on posing for a film poster in underwear.

Talking about the poster itself, Varun’s ‘don’t kill me I’m innocent’ face wins hearts instantly. His well-shaped body and those washboard abs make for a delightful watch as the star poses with a gun his hand a tangy orange belt bag around his waist. The first look promises the laughter riot that the film is claiming to be. The film is being produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar and Shashank Khaitan.

On the work front, Varun is super busy promoting ‘Street Dancer 3D’ with Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi. The dance film is all set to release on 24 January alongside Kangana Ranaut’s family drama ‘Panga’. Both the film posters have been well-received by the audiences so far. Only time will tell which one fares better at the Box Office come Friday.
