Panga Box Office Collection Day 4: After a low opening weekend, Kangana Ranaut’s Panga crashes on Monday, collected around Rs 1.5 crore.
Panga 4th day box office collection: After a poor opening weekend at the box office, Kangana Ranaut’s Panga falls flat on Monday. The film literally crashed as it collected just Rs 1.50 crore. This is far poor result than expectations. To stay in the game, Panga required to be on the same level as Friday but it went down by around 40%.
The total collection of the film after four days is around Rs 16.4 crore. This is way below-par for a film which has received good reviews and garnering positive word of mouth. Kangana Ranaut’s film has been struggling from the first day itself. It had a poor start with the collection of Rs 2.7 crore on Friday (1st day).
Though the film doubles its business on Saturday, it once again disappointed on Sunday. It managed to collect just Rs 6.6 crore on Republic Day (Sunday). Now, a crash on Monday ensures that there is no hope left for the film.
Panga has failed mainly due to two reasons. The first being a huge competition from Varun Dhawan’s Street Dancer 3D and Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji. The second reason is the limited appeal. The film has been completed rejected in the mass centres.
The lifetime collection of Panga would be around Rs 25 crore. After Chhapaak, Panga is the second women-centric film which failed at the box office in a span of just 20 days. This pretty must tell the story. Both movies received a positive response from the critics but failed at ground level. Maybe the audience is not yet prepared for women-centric films.
