Panipat 4th Day Box Office Collection: Panipat witnessed regular drop on Monday, collected around Rs 2.5 crore. It’s all over for Ashutosh Gowariker film.
Ashutosh Gowariker’s historical war-drama film Panipat is a big flop. The film continues to struggle after a low opening weekend. On Monday, the film witnessed a regular drop in numbers. Compared to the Friday (Rs 4.12 crore) collection, the film dropped by around 40% which is regular for every film. However, the problem with Panipat is a very low opening.
Despite good reviews, the film has been rejected in most parts of the country. The collection on the first day (Rs 4.12 crore) itself tells the story. The film saw limited growth on Saturday and Sunday to end the first weekend with the collection of Rs 17.68 crore.
Panipat is fighting a lost battle at the box office. It was released with zero pre-release buzz. In fact, the trailer was a big disappointment and the film was trolled for its lead actor (Arjun Kapoor). Casting Arjun Kapoor in an epic historical film was a gamble and producers are paying for it.
Talking about Monday collection of Panipat, the film witnessed a regular drop of 40%. As per the reports coming, Panipat 4th day box office collection is around Rs 2.6 crore. The total collection of the film after 4 days stands at around Rs 20.5 crore.
There is not much hope left for the film. It will continue to struggle and see regular drops in the coming days. This one will turn out one of the biggest flops of the year. It will be Arjun Kapoor’s fourth consecutive flop in a row after Mubarakan, Namaste England and India’s Most Wanted.
Ashutosh Gowariker has done a good job in Panipat but it is his fourth commercial failure in a row. The other three are What’s Your Rashee, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Mohenjo Daro.
