Pati Patni Aur Woh 3rd Day Box Office Collection: The film witnessed good growth on Sunday, collected around Rs 15 crore to end the first weekend on a high.
Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey starrer ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ is all set to become a hit at the box office. The film had a pretty good opening weekend with the collection of Sunday almost touched Rs 15 crore mark. The film has amassed Rs 35+ crore in the first weekend which is a very good number for a medium budget rom-com.
Talking about the third-day box office report, the collection goes up by around 20% compared to the second day. The film collected around Rs 15 crore compared to Rs 12.33 crore on Saturday. I was expecting huge numbers on Sunday but that didn’t happen as the film is not doing that good in mass circuits. The first-weekend collection of the film stands at Rs 35.94 crore.
The first-weekend numbers are good but not as per expectation, especially with positive word of mouth and a solid opening. I was expecting the film to cross Rs 40 crore mark in the first weekend. Similar films like Dream Girl, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Bala, Luka Chuppi witnessed better growth than Pati Patni Aur Woh.
Having said that, the film is all set to become a hit at the box office thanks to solid pre-release buzz which helped in a solid opening. Pati Patni Aur Woh will be Kartik Aaryan’s third consecutive hit after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi.
The budget of Pati Patni Aur Woh is around Rs 40 crore. It just need Rs 50 crore to become a box office hit. With Rs 35 crore already in pocket, the film should easily cross Rs 50 crore mark. However, it will find difficult to enter Rs 100 crore club as the mass circuits are not doing great.
