Last week Bollywood releases, PM Narendra Modi, India’s Most Wanted has failed big time at the domestic box office. Arjun Kapoor’s India’s Most Wanted has failed to live up to the low expectations while Vivek Oberoi’s PM Narendra Modi has also failed.
It is one of those weeks where a Hollywood film dominated over Bollywood films. While both Bollywood films failed to make it big, Hollywood film Aladdin is a clear winner of the week.
Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De has performed better than the last week Hindi releases. Let’s have a look at the first-week box office report of PM Narendra Modi, India’s Most Wanted and Aladdin.
PM Narendra Modi 7th Day Box Office Collection
After a low opening, Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi witnessed decent growth over the weekend. However, it failed on weekdays. Despite being released at a time when Modi’s popularity is at its peak, the film failed to make an impact.
As per early estimates, PM Narendra Modi 7th day collection would be around 1.4 crores. The total first-week collection of the movie stands at around 17 crores.
India’s Most Wanted 7th Day Box Office Collection
Released alongside PM Narendra Modi, Arjun Kapoor’s crime drama film India’s Most Wanted received positive reviews from the critics. However, its box office fate was written on the first day itself when it got off to a terrible opening. It got off to a very poor opening and earned only 2.10 crores on Friday. Then on Saturday as well, Raj Kumar Gupta’s directorial remained low and earned 3.03 crores.
After collecting 8.66 crores in the opening weekend, the movie crashes on Monday and is earning in the range of 0.7 to 1 crores. The total first-week collection of India’s Most Wanted stands at around 12 crores.
Aladdin 7th Day Box Office Collection
Will Smith, Mena Massoud & Naomi Scott starrer Aladdin had a good opening week at the Indian box office. After a decent opening day with the collection of 4.25 crores, it witnessed good growth over the weekend and earned around 18.5 crores in the first weekend.
On weekdays, it remained steady and collected around 3.40 crores on Monday, 3.10 crores on Tuesday, 2.75 crores on Wednesday. As per early estimates, Aladdin 7th day collection would be around 2.3 crores. After the first week, the total collection of the movie stands at around 30 crores.
