Pooja Dadwal, the talented actress starred in a couple of flop films after making a splashing filmy debut opposite Salman Khan in ‘Veergati’ in 1995. She only returned to the tabloids in March 2019 when Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human’ decided to pay off Pooja’s piling hospital bills and aids.
Pooja was detected with a severe case of Tuberculosis while she was working as an Assistant Manager at a casino in Goa. Before her Goa stint, the actress quit acting after starring in Zee TV’s ‘Gharana’.
Pooja had ditched her acting career to focus on family and personal matters. Little did she know that her short-break would be the death of a career in the glittery world of Hindi cinema. Pooja had been falling sick every passing day and while her friends and family ditched her; it was only Bhaijaan who came to her rescue.
Pooja was put in a rental Apartment in Goa where she was healing after spending six ailing months in the hospital in Sewri, Mumbai. The actress slowly putting pieces of her life together in Mumbai. While she is looking for work to prove her existant acting skills, writer-director Anees Bazmee has already planned to help her.
The director was seen asking her contact details so he could provide her with a role in his upcoming flick ‘Pagalpanti’. The director assured that he would especially write a role to accommodate the yesteryear actress on humanitarian grounds.
Pooja is forever grateful to Salman Khan for stretching a hand when everybody left her side. She said she wanted to touch his feet and thank the man for his deeds. As of now, Pooja is in best of health and looking for a stable job and roof in the city of Mumbai. She is currently in touch with Rajendra (Singh), her only friend in the industry.
