Priyanka Chopra-Rajkumar Rao to star in Netflix film The White Tiger

The super talented actors Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao posted a selfie announcing their new project – The White Tiger, a Netflix Originals film based on Aravind Adiga’s novel with the same name.

Rajkummar Rao took to his Instagram handle to share a happy selfie with PC followed by some more pictures with the director, Ramin Bharani. Before we could take our eyes off the refreshing Jodi we were surprised with a caption that announced their partnership for an upcoming Netflix film.

‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ actor, Rajkummar Rao captioned the picture saying he can’t wait to act with such supremely talented people. He tagged Priyanka Chopra, Arvind Adiga, Mukul Deora and Netflix India.

In another post shared by Priyanka Chopra on her Instagram featured a couple of photos from the first day of Table Reading Session for ‘The White Tiger’. Just like Rajkummar, Priyanka also seems pretty excited about working with such talent houses.

As viewers, we cannot wait to see our favourites in one frame. The film is an adaptation of Arvind Adiga’s bestselling novel ‘The White Tiger’. The author was honoured with ’The Man Booker Prize 2008’.

The Adiga’s book follows the extraordinary ordeal of a self-made man who starts off his career from tea-shop in a village to ultimately become a successful entrepreneur in a big city. In the story, murder, love and deceit become the ultimate price for ambition.

Directed by Rahmin Bharani, ‘The White Tiger’ will go on floors in October 2019. According to Rahmin, he’d wanted to make a film out of this book for over a decade and he couldn’t be happier to finally make it with such fine actors.

On the work front, Rajkummar will be seen hitting the silver screens with ‘Made In China’, releasing on Diwali. Piggy Chops is busy promoting her upcoming film with Farhan Akhtar, ‘The Sky is Pink’.
