Ever since the launch of its teaser with captivating Amitabh Bacchan’s voice, Brahmastra has dominated the media. It is one of the most anticipated movies in production since 2017.
The real-life couple, Ranbir and Alia, will be seen playing a romantic role, and the audience is excited about it. However, the movie is much deeper than romance. According to Karan Johar, the movie is set to be a trilogy franchise. Hence, the shooting is taking longer than expected, with a lot of VFX work under progress according to mumbai mirror.
The theme of the movie seems to be based around Ranbir’s character Shiva, who has the power to shoot flames from his palms. It is important to establish a compelling origin and storyline for the character. Hence, the team is moving to Manali to showcase the discovery and growth of Shiva as a character. They are going to deliberately focus on the details of Hindu Mythology and incorporate it into the movie.
Thus, the production team must focus on the natural aspects and beauty of Indian heritage. The reason alone is enough for the cast to move to Manali immediately in November, as they aim to catch the hill station at the peak of its beauty. It is a fifteen-day shooting tour which should be sufficient for the cast and team to capture the essence.
The movie is set to release in mid-2020, due to the extensive VFX work. It seems like Karan Johar does not plan on compromising with the quality of the movie. The movie also casts several enthralling actors like Amitabh Bacchan, Nagarjuna, Moni Roy, and Dimple Kapadia. Ayan Mukherji is directing it with utmost passion. Hopefully, we will get to witness an Indian Cinematic Masterpiece in the form of Brahmastra.
