Romeo Akbar Walter first day box office collection prediction: John Abraham starrer to earn Rs 6-7 crore

RAW box office prediction

Romeo Akbar Walter first day box office collection prediction: John Abraham starrer spy thriller is expected to take a decent start at the box office.

John Abraham’s starrer spy thriller Romeo Akbar Walter is releasing today.  Set in 1971, when India and Pakistan were on the verge of war, the movie is directed by Robbie Gerewal. The trailer of the movie received a positive response and with no strong competitor this week, RAW is expected to take a decent start at the box office.

John Abraham’s last two releases, Satyameva Jayate and Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran were successful at the box office and trade experts are expecting RAW to take the same route.

Trade expert Girish Johar believes, ‘John chooses his films very carefully because he doesn’t want to disappoint his fans. Whatever choices he has made, all have been good. With RAW too, whatever promotional material we have watched is impressive. The film is based on an Indian spy working in Pakistan and from the looks of it, it looks intriguing as well as a thrilling ride at the box office. I am expecting a good start for the film. I peg its day one box office collection around Rs 6-6.5 crore.’

RAW is releasing on around 1500-1700 screens. It is a solo big release of this week. With no competition from past releases, I am also expecting RAW to have a decent opening of around 5-6 crore. RAW is one of those films which could turn out a sleeper hit at the box office. It can turn out to be another profitable venture for John Abraham, after Parmanu and Satyameva Jayate. John might make a hattrick of hit films with RAW.

RAW also features Mouni Roy, Sikander Kher, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The reviews have started to pour in and most of the critics have given it an average rating. Let’s see how the movie performs at the box office.
