The Independence Day 2019 will see the clash of three of the Bollywood’s biggest movies of the year. Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor’s magnum opus ‘Saaho’ to clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’ and John Abraham’s story of police encounter ‘Batla House’.

This 15 August the audience will be up for more than one entertainment option at the movie theatres. Three of the most awaited films are slated for a massive clash at the Box-Office on a public holiday which also happens to be the festival of Rakshabandhan.

Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal is based on the true story of India’s revolutionary mission to Mars. The female-dominated cast features some of the best names in the film industry.

Akshay Kumar will be seen essaying the role of senior scientist Rakesh Dhawan with Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menon. The trailer piqued the viewer’s interest as it released on 9 July.

John Abraham will be seen in a policeman avatar taking lead in the ‘Batla House Encounter’. The decade-old incident still sends chills down to our spine. We can’t wait to see the true story on the silver screen. The trailer released tomorrow suggests that the film is raw and realistic. John Abraham is killing it.

Contrary to the other two real-life stories, Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer is an action-thriller flick. Actors like Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff will also be playing important roles in the film. The film will be Shraddha’s Tollywood debut but it’ll also release in Hindi.

The Tollywood star has been off the big screen since Baahubali and his fans can’t wait to see him hit the Box-office again. The new song from the movie ‘Psycho Saiyaan’ has become an instant hit already.

The tough Box-Office battle shall be fought with all honour and armour for us to see. Not to forget, India’s favourite web-series ‘Sacred Games 2’ featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan will also go live on Netflix on the same date.
