Salman Khan & Prabhudeva to come together for ‘Radhe’, the Bollywood remake of Korean film ‘Outlaws’. The film is confirmed to release on Eid 2020 i.e. 22 May 2020.
Salman Khan’s film ‘Radhe’ has been in the news for some time now. Up until last week, the rumours about the film is being stalled or shelved were doing rounds. But this morning a source close to the film revealed that the film is very much ON.
The makers are prepping up the pre-production process along with screenwriting. The project will see Salman playing the role of a cop, pretty similar to his character ‘Chulbul Pandey’ from ‘Dabangg’ series.
Salman had promised his fans to treat them with a release on Eid 2020. It was earlier said that Salman had waved a green signal to ‘Wanted’ and ‘No Entry’ sequels but that seems unlikely since ‘Radhe’ is back on track.
The source close to Salman Khan also revealed that due to shortage of time they’re left with no time to look for a suitable script for Bhai. Hence, they’ve decided to go forward with ‘Radhe’ as Salman’s Eid 2020 release.
The film, ‘Radhe’ is touted to be the Bollywood remake of Korean flick ’The Outlaws’. The makes are trying to tone down the violent and sexual content of the film to make it appropriate for the Indian audience. Director Prabhudeva will be handling the project once he’s done with ‘Dabangg 3’. Right now his hands are too full of ‘Bhai-ness’ already.
‘The Outlaws’ (2017) starred Ma Dong-Seok, Yoon Kye-sang and Jo Jae-Yoon. The film is about a Seoul Detective who tries to keep his life together while shutting down war between the neighbouring gangster gangs.
Salman is currently busy with Dabangg 3. The film is slated for December 209 release. Let’s wait to see how Sallu Bhai brings his charm alive in the Korean film remake.
