Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Kyon Ki clashed with comedy film starring Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. While Garam Masala proved to be a hit, Kyon Ki was a Flop.
Jaan-E-Mann (2006)
Released on Eid 2006 along with Salman Khan’s Don, Shirish Kunder’s Jaan-E-Mann had a stellar star cast of Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta. Despite huge hype, Jaan-E-Mann failed at the box office due to poor direction and screenplay. Shahrukh Khan’s Don comfortably won the clash.
Tubelight (2017)
After the super success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan and Kabir Khan collaborated for Tubelight. The expectations were huge but the film tanked at the box office. Made in a budget of 135 crores, Tubelight earned 121 crores at the Indian box office.
Race 3 (2018)
The third instalment of the famous Race franchise Race 3 starred Salman Khan in the lead role. Directed by Remo D’ Souza, Race 2 also starred Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez. The film was thrashed by the critics. At the box office, it failed to after a superb opening. The budget of the film was around 175 crores. It was a box office flop with the collection of 169 crores in India.
