Ayushmann Khurrana’s film was expected to repeat the success of Bala and Dream Girl but it isn’t turned out a case. The film has a pretty good opening and it saw good growth over the first weekend. However, the problem started when the film faced a big drop on Monday. It saw a continuous drop over the weekdays to end the first week with the collection of Rs 44. 84 crore.

Coming to the second week, the film had a poor start as it earned just Rs 2.08 crore on its 8th day. It saw limited growth over the second week. Then on weekdays, the film remained low and continues to drop. As per early estimates,  Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan 14th day box office collection is around Rs 1 crore.

The total collection after two weeks stands at Rs 59 crore. As Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 3 is releasing today, there is not much hope left for Ayushmann Khurrana starrer. The lifetime collection of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan would be less than Rs 70 crore. This is definitely below par considering the box office numbers of Ayushmann’s recent films. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhanis currently Ayushmann’s 6th highest grossing movie after Bala, Dream Girl, Andhadhun, Article 15 and Badhaai Ho.

The budget of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is around Rs 50 crore. It is a box office hit as it crossed the required Rs 60 crore mark. However, the expectations were much higher. Fans were expecting a hat-trick of 100 crore films from Ayushmann. His last two films Bala and Dream Girl were huge hits with the collection of Rs 100+ crore.
