It received good reviews from the critics. The audience has also loved the film. As a result, it saw good growth in the collections after a decent opening at the box office.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan economics

Though the opening weekend numbers are pretty good, the box office fate of the film depends on how well it holds on Monday. Generally, multiplex films like ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ see a big drop on Monday. However, Ayushmann Khurrana would be hoping for a good hold on weekdays.

The budget of the film is around Rs 50 crore with Rs 40 crore spent on production and Rs 10 crore spent on advertising and promotion. It needs to collect Rs 65 crore to become a box office hit. It will be considered average if it crosses Rs 50 crore mark.
