Street Dancer 3D Box Office Collection Day 4: After a decent opening weekend, Varun Dhawan starrer Street Dancer 3D saw a huge drop on Monday, collected around Rs 5 crore.
Street Dancer 3D 4th day collection: Varun Dhawan’s dance film ‘Street Dancer 3D’ falls flat at the box office on Monday (4th day). The film had a pretty decent opening weekend with the collection of Rs 41+ crore. However, there is a huge drop on the fourth day which clearly suggest that the film is rejected. As per early estimates, Street Dancer 3D 4th day collection is around Rs 5 crore. There is a drop of more than 50% compared to Friday.
Street Dancer 3D had an average start as it collected just Rs 10.26 crore on Friday (day 1). It witnessed good growth over the weekend, earning Rs 13.21 crore and Rs 17.76 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Here’s a look at the day-wise collection of the film:
First day collection: Rs 10.26 crore
Second day collection: Rs 13.21 crore
Third day collection: Rs 17.76 crore
Fourth day collection: Rs 5 crore (early estimates)
The film has under-performed so far. It has not touched Rs 50 crore mark yet which ideally should have been achieved in the first weekend. It performed well in the opening weekend due to the franchise factor and Republic Day advantage. Now, the holiday period is over and it is showing its true colour.
Street Dancer 3D has received mixed reviews from the critics. The word of mouth is also not in favour of the film. So, don’t expect it to remain steady on weekdays. The collection will continue to dip in the coming days. The first week box office would be around Rs 55 crore.
Street Dancer 3D is a grand film with a budget of Rs 100 crore. It needs to cross Rs 120 crore mark to become a box office hit. With no major releases this week, Street Dancer 3D has a chance to survive for one more week. However, touching 100 crore mark is almost impossible from here.
