Street Dancer 3D Box Office Collection Day 7: Varun Dhawan’s Film Continues To Drop On Weekdays, Have An Average Opening Week Wth The Collection Of Rs 57 Crore.
Street Dancer 3D 7th day collection: Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer dance film ‘Street Dancer 3D’ has a below-average opening week at the box office. Despite being one of the most awaited films of the year, Street Dancer 3D failed to attract the audience to the theatres. As per early estimates, the film collected around Rs 3.4 crore on 7th day. The first week total of the film stands at Rs 57 crore.
Remo D’Souza’s film is saw a constant downslide on weekdays. It witnessed a huge drop of around 55% on Monday, collected just Rs 4.65 crore. On Tuesday, the film witnessed more drop as it collected Rs 3.88 crore followed by Rs 3.58 crore on Wednesday. Here’s a look at the day-wise collection of the film:
First day collection: Rs 10.26 crore
Second day collection: Rs 13.21 crore
Third day collection: Rs 17.76 crore
Fourth day collection: Rs 4.65 crore
Fifth day collection: Rs 3.88 crore
Sixth day collection: Rs 3.58 crore
Seventh day collection: Rs 3.4 crore
The first week collection of Street Dancer 3D is less than Varun Dhawan’s films like Judwaa 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Kalank. It is even less than the previous instalment ABCD 2 which collected Rs 71.78 crore in the first week.
Released on 3700 screens, Street Dancer 3D was expected to perform well like the previous two films of the franchise. The film has been rejected due to its poor content.
The budget of Street Dancer 3D is around Rs 100 crore. It needs to cross Rs 120 crore mark to become a box office hit. Well, Rs 100 crore looks out of reach now. With low competition at the box office, Street Dancer would be hoping to cross Rs 80 crore in its lifetime. However, it needs to remain steady to retain a good number of screens in the second week.
